Association of the Bavarian Textile and Clothing Industry e.V.
As an active member of the VTB, I am part of a renowned textile and clothing network. As an employers‘ and trade association, the organisation represents the interests of the Bavarian textile and clothing industry, which can look back on a long history steeped in tradition. The textile and clothing industry has changed considerably since its inception and the areas in which its products are used have expanded enormously. The Bavarian textile and clothing industry is largely made up of medium-sized companies. Many have been family-owned for generations. ‘Innovation has tradition’ – under this guiding principle, which characterises the industry, the Bavarian Textile and Clothing Industry Association (Verband der Bayerischen Textil- und Bekleidungsindustrie e.V.) is committed to supporting companies in the sector in Bavaria.

Industrial Association Finishing – Yarns – Fabrics – Technical Textiles e.V.
As an active member of the IVGT, I am part of the largest textile trade association in Germany. The association represents the interests of around 170 member companies from the fields of textile raw materials, finishing, yarns and fabrics as well as technical textiles. It therefore represents more than 60% of the German textile industry. As a trade association, its work makes a significant contribution to maintaining and strengthening the framework conditions for textile production. It supports all technical, economic and political concerns of its member companies vis-à-vis national, European and international institutions.
